2010 Friends of Scouting Recognition Plan
2010 Friends of Scouting enrollment will kickoff on January 7.
The goal of $160,000 provides for council programs and services and represents 19% of the council budget.
A volunteer team in each district will lead the campaign.
The new UNIT RECOGNITION plan includes the following:
Blue Chip ($30 average per member)– Pinewood Derby car for each Cub Scout; 10% Boy Scout camp fee discount
President Award ($50 average per member)– Pinewood derby and 5% day camp fee discount, 15% camp fee discount for each registered Boy Scout
Individual Recognitions include:
$30 family level– BSA window “cling”
$50 district level– FOS shoulder patch (one of five)
$150 Century– Plaque with FOS patch
$250 Leadership– Set of 5 FOS patches
$500 Patron– Framed set of 5 FOS patches
$750 Honor– Framed Normal Rockwell print (small)
$1,000 Guardian– Framed Norman Rockwell print (large)
$2,500 Golden Eagle– ceramic eagle
Golden Eagle Patrol recognizes enrollers who raise $2,500 in Friends of Scouting donations. Enrollers will be presented a distinctive bolo tie and name will be listed at service center.
Golden Eagle Unit , contributing $2,500, will be recognized with a 10% discount on all badges of rank during current calendar year, plus the recognitions listed above.
