Dowling Aquatic Base: Cook and Lifeguard positions are still available, and two Counselor in Training positions.
Wehinahpay: Paid staff positions are filled, but Counselors in Training are available.
Consider now being a 2011 camp staffer!
Away from home, increased personal responsibility, learning new skills and work habits, and making new friends, makes summer camp staff a rewarding and life-changing job.
Dowling Aquatic Base positions: Aquatics Program Director, Aquatics Skills Instructors (swimming, lifesaving, rowing, canoeing, sailboarding, snorkeling, waterskiing, motorboating), camp cook, dining hall steward, kitchen staff.
Wehinahpay Mountain Camp positions: Program Director, Director positions for Outdoor Skills, Shooting Sports, Climbing, C.O.P.E., and Crafts. Other adult positions include: Trading Post manager, Camp Cook, and Health Officer. Youth positions include instructors in all of the above areas plus kitchen/dining hall.
Some adult positions require specialized training.
The council is seeking qualified and interested persons from all troops who have attended a camp, but Boy Scout experience is not a requirement.
